Using Simplyfirst
An overview of features, data management and technical requirements.
EU Warranty
This module displays statutory EU legal-guarantee information on supported storefront surfaces. Language follows the storefront locale. Theme app blocks enable placement without manual code changes.
GARAN products
GARAN manages voluntary durability or manufacturer warranties per product. Merchants can enter product identification, manufacturer, duration, geographical scope and a complete warranty statement.
Bulk setup and CSV
Rules based on manufacturer or product type plus CSV import and export support larger catalogs. Review a sample of imported changes before publishing.
PDF documents
PDF warranty statements are stored in Shopify through the Shopify Files API. A publicly accessible HTTPS document can be used instead.
Checkout and thank-you page
These surfaces use Shopify Checkout UI Extensions and require Shopify Plus plus an eligible Simplyfirst plan. Extensions must be activated in the checkout editor.
Permissions
The app uses the Shopify scopes write_products and write_files. It does not request API scopes for customer or order data.
Uninstallation
Stored app sessions are deleted after uninstallation. Metafields created by the merchant and documents stored in Shopify Files can still be managed and deleted in Shopify admin.
