Installation guide

1. Install and open the app

Install the app through Shopify, then open it in Shopify admin. The app authenticates the store automatically.

2. Select a plan

EU Warranty includes the core EU labels. GARAN Pro adds product-specific manufacturer warranties and bulk management. GARAN Checkout adds supported checkout surfaces for Shopify Plus.

3. Activate theme blocks

1. Open Online Store → Themes → Customize.
2. Open a product template and add the Simplyfirst product block.
3. Position the block where required and save the theme.
4. Open the cart template and add the GARAN cart block if needed.

4. Configure GARAN products

Open GARAN products, select a product and enter manufacturer, duration, scope and the complete warranty statement as a PDF or HTTPS link. Use bulk setup or CSV workflows for larger catalogs.

5. Configure checkout

For a Shopify Plus store with an eligible Simplyfirst plan, open the checkout editor, add the Simplyfirst extensions and save the configuration.

6. Verify status and output

Open Installation and select “Check status again.” Then verify at least one configured product, the cart and, where available, checkout and thank-you page.
